Why did I start upcycling? I see people throwing all these things away and they don’t think about whether or not it can be reused. They don’t realise that they are throwing away some of the money they spent on it.
So normally when I see something that I can salvage, especially at my recycling drives, I will take them and try to make them into something else. Sometimes when the residents bring down clothing that are brand new, I will keep them and make them into bags or give them away to lower income families.
