Community Outreach at Punggol East CC

Tis’ the season to be jolly - Here's a snapshot of the team introducing upcycling to the residents of Punggol East!

On 16 December, 2017, the team ushered in the Christmas spirit with the residents of Punggol East. We introduced the concept of upcycling, and taught them to make their very own shrink-dinks and textile patches! It was an UP-lifting experience for all of us, and pure joy to see the delighted looks on the little ones’ faces.

The residents were enthusiastic about the activities and we received an overwhelmingly positive response! They were thrilled to learn how to make their own keepsakes, as well as how easy they are to make. Parents also worked with their kids to create the upcycling products, which created a great UP-pertunity for family bonding!
