Join us at Singapore's first family upcycling festival!

Jointly organised by Up & Away and Cairnhill CC & YEC, UP Fest aims to introduce the concept of upcycling to the public. It also aims to encourage them to be more mindful about Singapore’s pressing waste issue through interactive games and activities.

Free Upcycling Workshops
Take part in hands-on upcycling activities based on the 4 themes of upcycling - food waste, craft, textile and wood. Have a go at denailing your own wooden pallets with the craftsmen at Touchwood or knit your own upcycled bracelet from old tshirts with It Takes Balls. Check out the programme line-up here.

600 Free Upcycling Starter Kits
Packed in a biodegradable starch bag, participants can redeem their very own specially- curated upcycling starter kits. Containing used materials such as old textile and plastic packaging, participants can upcycle these items to create keychains and patches. Limited to one kit per person, while stocks last.

Free Food & Coffee (BYO)
Enjoy free refreshments from our snack bar and coffee from Bettr Baristas. Used coffee grounds from the event would also be upcycled for composting. In line with our goal of reducing waste, plastic disposables would not be provided and participants are encouraged to bring their own cutlery.
Family & Arts Carnival
Enjoy fun activities for the family with an 8-metres Giant Ball Pit, Bouncy Castle, Popcorn and free Photo-booth. The festival will also feature performances from SCGS Choir and Cairnhill’s Kid Ballet and Hip-Hop Dance Crew.
